can i change default size of text box?

when i start typing in onenote it automatically makes a textbox for me... and
as i type the box expands to the right to a certain point and then it wraps
around... i know i can use the mouse to change the size of the text box once
it has been created...

but if i know that i want all my text boxes to be say... 1" wide... or 40
characters wide or somesuch... is there a way to set the default text box
size so i don't have to manually resize everytime i type anything?
