I have my windows Vista regional information set to area code '02' for Sydney and Country Australia.
I noticed that in Outlook 2007, when I enter in a local phone number it adds the country and area code in front of it.
If I enter 9123-4567 it will change it to +61 (02) 9123-4567
The problem is that this is wrong and the number won't dial because the zero needs to be 'dropped' when dialing numbers with a country code.
Can I configure the Outlook phone number format to not include the Zero in the area code or do I have to change it in my regional settings in Windows and therefore making the change global?
Would love to fix it in Outlook alone..
