can i change the menu language to English?

my dad just sent me a new laptop from taiwan. the thing is--everything was
pretty much installed in Chinese. i managed to change the language settings
to English, but everything in microsoft office, the menu and other tabs are
still in Chinese. can i change them to English?

Not at the moment. If you purchase an English language version of
Office 2007, then you can also purchase one of the 30-something single
language packs to change the user interface to another language. But if
you purchase a non-English language version of Office 2007, there
currently is not an English language pack that you can add to your
non-English version. It has not been announced yet whether the Office
2007 multi-language pack will include an English language pack. The
multi-language pack is not yet available. See
