Can I click on a word in text and have spelling & definition disp

At one time I remember I could click on any word in any text and the spelling
and definition of the word would display. I do not remember if it was a
feature of Word.

Hello,

It is a feature of Word, indeed. You can right-click on a word in your
document, and select the Look Up function. This will open the Research pane
and the relevant entry from the Encarta monolingual English dictionary will
be displayed (you can also display the entries from a series of bilingual
dictionaries as well). You need to be connected to the Internet to access the
Encarta dictionary definitions.
