Can I convert .pub (MS Pub 2000) files to Word 2003

Trying to email .pub files to someone who does not run Publisher (that would
be most of the known world?) Recipient wants files in Adobe, Word (I have
2003) or Quicktime. Can I convert .pub files to Word? Tried it w/no luck.
Respond in plain language, please: I have no geekness content.

You can copy/paste to Word and lose most of your formatting.

There are free PDF converters around. www.primopdf.com is one, do a Internet
search for others.
