can I create a form with record source from more than one tables

I would like to create a form with two pages ( a pop up one) that contain
controls from different two tables , can this be done please advice.

The data will be readonly if the underlying query is non-updatable.
Two tables typically means one-to-many; if that is the case a parent
form / subform combination is the way to go. If these are two
unrelated tables, I would still consider one or two subforms.
