URGENT! Does anyone know if the new PowerPoint saves backwards well to version 2004? I have to create a redesigned template (Title and 3 slide layouts) tomorrow and I'm pretty new to Powerpoint. I need to hand off the document to client, who will load page information and create the final ppd file. I'm NOT going to recreate fancy graphs in the new version- will it be OK for basic design elements?

Based on what you wrote I don't think there should be any problem, but 2
suggestions:

1- Save the new file in 97-2004 format *before* you begin to work, and
2- use the Compatibility Checker (wrench icon in the Toolbox) when done to
be sure.
