Can I create keyboard shortcuts for special symbols in OneNote?

i.e. §? In word you can assign such symbols to key commands in the insert
symbol option box, but it the same box on OneNote there is not option to
assign keys. Is it just not possible?

Assigning keystrokes is not possible in OneNote, but you can use
AutoCorrect to do the same thing.
