Can I display a cumulative timescale in MS Project?

When I choose a monthly timescale in MS Project, the timescale shows the
recurring values from 1 to 12. I don't want to tie the timescale to any one
year or any one point in time. I wish to display a monthly timescale for a 60
month project from 1 to 60. Can I do this in MS Project?

Hello Andre,

Check the options for labels in the Timescale dialog. There are
several options such as "Month 1...Month 2 (from start)" or "M1...M2
from Start" that will show each month of the project numbered and
continue to the end.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi André AC

Go to Format > Timescale, then from [Units] dropdown list select “Monthsâ€
and from [Label] dropdown list select Month 1,2,3,..,

Just remind you to select the right number of Timescale Tiers then adjust
[Units] and [Label] accordingly.
