Can I display names in received emails instead of email addresses?

I want to have the names from my contacts list displayed in the emails I send
and receive (both the sender and recipients). For example a receive an email
from Bob Smith whose email is (e-mail address removed) I want it display the sender
as Bob Smith and not bsmith, and the same for multiple recipients on a
message names instead of addresses in the "To:" line when they are in my
address book. Is there a way to get Outlook to do this?

The format of names in your received messages is determined by the sender
not the recipient.
You can change the format of the Display Name for your Contacts if you want
to change the format of the name in outgoing messages, but it's a lot of
work to do so and is of no consequence.
