Can I download Chinese character set?

I recently installed Office v.X hoping to be able to download a set of
Chinese characters (standard, not simplified) as I did with a PC version
of Word, but can't figure how to do that, or even if I can (without
buying a language download). Any suggestions? Thanks!

OS X already has all the Chinese stuff you need. See this site

Thanks for the reference--it's been very helpful, and I'm able to work
with characters, though I'm running into several glitches when
inputting into a Word document--I'll keep playing with it, and maybe
come back later with more specific issues. Thanks again.
