Can I embed Flash FLV into a web page like SWF ?

I'm confused on Flash FLV files.

I know you can stream them from a streaming server... but can you also embed
them into a web page if you don't have a streaming web server?

If so is the code to embed them any different that it is for swf files?

If so would someone be kind enough to point me to a code snippit for
embedding flash flv files into a web page.

An FLV file requires a SWF "player" file to play the media
