can I export a spreadsheet into a differentspreadsheet with different column headings

I have a inventory speadsheet that I want to export the data into a different speadsheet. The destination spreadsheet has columns with headings that are not all identical to the original, and the order of the columns are not sequential, the order is completely different from the original. If so, what must I do?

Can you copy and paste the data?

For example:
Copy from source data: A2.a500
Paste in Target data: g2.g500
