can i get a cell to countdown with the computer clock in excel

i am in iraq and would like to create a countdown calendar to track the
minutes hours and seconds i have left in IRAQ. i want to try to link it to
the computer clock to continously recalculate. i have it now where if i hold
F9 down it will recalculate but i want it to doo it as soon as i open it. any
word of wisdome would help.
