I just bought a new IBM Computer. I got Office XP with it.
Am i eligible for a free upgrade to the new office 2004?

See this page for details:

It specifies that OEM copies of Office XP do not qualify.

Hi Milly,

While the OEM copies do not qualify for the MS Retail
Technology Guarantee, the PC suppliers may be offering
an upgrade separately.

And you all appear to have missed the fact that he was a version ahead of
everyone else! ;o) I wouldn't employ you as proof readers!

Some of us are bit more forgiving of minor mistakes, especially when we
already know what is being referenced.

FWIW, I just received one of the checks I am owed for Technical Editing and
Proofing several of the new Outlook books that will be hitting the shelves
about now. Guess being a paid editor/proofer does not qualify me to chide
people in the public groups about mistakes?
