can I get multi colour lines connecting shapes, i.e. blue/red etc

I could really do with being able to create multi colour lines between
shapes. This is so I can have identifiable coloured pairs as they would be
in a multicore cable, i.e blue/blue and white, blue/blue and red etc.

You can create line patterns that allow you to have multi-colour lines.

When you add colour to a line pattern, the colour remains. Any area that
uses black will take on the line colour. If you need areas to remain black,
do not use black, but an almost black (255,255,254).
