My trial of Office 2003 ended and I want to use Office 2000. Can I revert
back to this program and how do I transfer my address book? Help please.

You'd have to uninstall Office 2003 and install Office 2000 from the original
CD. Before you uninstall Office 2003 you need to export the AddressBook (in
Outlook, I presume) to a "neutral" file format, such as delimited text or
Excel *.xls. In Outlook 2000 you can then import the file.

Outlook 2000 canNOT read an Outlook 2003 file format.

Note that you've asked this question in a DEVELOPER newsgroup (for
programming questions). In order to get the best and quickest help on setup
questions you should ask in the office.setup newsgroup.

Hi Cindy,

If the PST file is an ANSI PST it's compatible fully with Outlook 2000. It's
only a Unicode PST that's not compatible. Import and export is a no no. It
alters properties. Thing to do in Outlook 2003 is to create a new ANSI PST
if using a Unicode one, then copying everything from the Outlook 2003 PST to
the ANSI one. Then just close the PST file. Outlook 2000 will be able to use
it.
