We received a document created in Word for XP. We edited it and revised it
in Word 97, selected all text of the finalized copy and copied it into a new
document thinking the revision history would disappear. We sent it on to a
Word for XP user. He could see all of the revisions and then names of those
who revised it! How can we save a final copy wiping all of the revisions, or
is there a setting in Word 97 we can turn off? We don't want to paste as
unformatted text because it would be a pain to reformat.
Thanks!
