Can I 'hide' sections of my Gantt chart to show only certain month

M

Momo

Hello

I'm new to Project so apologies if this is a daft question, but I cannot
work out how to show, say, only the first 3 months of a 24 month project in
Gantt view. I have looked in timescales, etc., but it all seems geared
towards showing the project in its entirety.

Can anyone assist? Many thanks

Hello,

You dodn't miss anything: you can't.
You can limit a printout through Print... but not the view.

Apply an auto filter to the start date.
Autofilter (start date), select Custom, and then specify start date <=
(insert a date that is 3 months from project start date). This will show
only those tasks scheduled to start prior to the date you specified.
