can I import 2000 excel file to 2007 outlook address book?

Lost my outlook address file. Need to import contact info from 2000 word file
or 2000 excel file.

Then read your Help files or the many posts here that tell you how to import
using Outlook's Import Wizard. Note that since there is no address book in
Outlook, you will be importing into your Contacts Folder.
