can i insert an exe file to play within a ppt

I have created an excellent slideshow using a dedicated slideshow
maker program that has effects and cntrols not available within PPT.
The file is exported as a self executing stand alone exe file.

How can i insert this exe file to play within a powerpoint slideshow?

Click Insert > Object. Then click browse and look for the exe file.
