Can I install ms office with 1 licence on a desktop and laptop?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting MS office 2007 but is unsure whether I should get
one licence or three licences. I am planning to install the program onto a
desktop and a laptop. Can I do that with just once licence?

Office Standard allows one install on one desktop and one install on a
portable device belonging to the licensee under the one licence.

3? The retail Office may be installed on one Primary machine AND one
portable machine for the exclusive use by the user of the of the primary
machine. In other words it's NOT a family pack. You would need to
provide better clarification as to the intended use of the machines in
question.
