can I install Office Pro 97 on a PC with Windows XP?

I have Office Pro 97 on my old PC (Window 95). I have just purchased a laptop
computer with Windows XP. Can I install my old Office Pro 97 program on my
new computer using the disk I have (designed for Windows 95 and Windows NT)
or is there something I can download to do this? Or am I stuck with buying
new software, or purchasing an upgrade of some sort? Can I purchase and
upgrade that would work?

I run 97 on Windows XP, no problem. I didn't go buy a special disk version
of it or anything.
Just don't forget to do at LEAST SR1 (after you install) at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...0B-4DA8-4FB2-80E4-CCFB8D3C1D0B&displaylang=EN
Also, do a custom install, and do NOT install FindFast.
