Can I limit the events synched to Yahoo?

I want to use Outlook to set up appointments for some of my employees by
synching it with my Outlook calendar. This will allow them to access it
from anywhere.

Is there any way to only have certain items sych to the Yahoo calendar and
keep others private only to the Outlook file? This would allow us to keep
private meetings, etc., from being posted on the public calendar.

Thanks!

I don't believe the sync software uses categories in deciding what to sync,
so no. (AOL's Intellisync doesn't and AFAIK, it's the same.) You would need
to store private items in another folder (although first see if it ignores
items with the private box checked when syncing.)

You can exclude private items from the Yahoo sync.

Click the "Setup" button in the Intellisync window, select the Calendar then click Advanced. Use the "Filters" tab to specify which items you want to sync -- there's a built-in filter to exclude private data so you can just select that.
