Can I Mail Merge to E-mail including CC or BCC field.

T

Teres

Dear all,

I need to mail merge e-mails to my clients with a excel file. From the
interface of merging to e-mails, there is only one e-mail field and one
subject textbox. After merging, I found all the mails in the send folders.
Actually, I need to BCC or CC a copy to my boss only. If I do it mannually
by opening each mail in the send folder, it is troublesome! :(

Have anyone suggestion? TAHNKS FOR ANY ADVICES IN ADVANCED!

Best regards,
Teres

Hi Teres,

You could do this by modifying the information in the article "Mail Merge to
E-mail with Attachments" at

http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Word's mail merge can't do this for you, it would require a macro that would
process each and every result. This could be done in Word, you'll find a
macro that you can use as a basis on the mvps.org/word site that makes
attachments.

Another (and probably better) way, since the emails apparently don't go out
of your Outbox immediately, would be a Script in Outlook that would make the
change to everything in the Outbox (instead of you having to do it by hand).
You'd need to ask in an Outlook newsgroup about that.
