Can I maintain formatting when copying word text to PowerPoint

I want to copy text directly from Word to the notes section of Powerpoint. I
want the formatting to match for readabilty and in order to have direct long
quotes not appear to be my words.

In Word, be sure to copy the last paragraph mark and in the Notes box of the
ppt. slide, see the Past option (in 2007) to keep source formatting. It will
come in in the same font and size. In lieu of the past option, you can go up
to the Paste Special icon on the toolbar and select Retain Source Formatting
or something like that.
