Try to insert a "picture bullet": Click Format>Bullets and Numbering.
Click the Bulleted tab. Click Picture, locate the graphic that you
want, and then click OK. Use copy and paste to duplicate the bullet
for a new list item (unlike "true" bullet and numbering formatting,
you cannot save the picture bullets in a style).
