Can I make a seperate copy of music from a powerpoint?

I have been sent a power point presentation which I like very much. I would
like to copy the music in it to a seperate file so it could be listened to
without having to run the entire show. No one, ioncluding the friend who sent
me the presentatin can come up with a title or artist for the music.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Michael,
Save the presentation as a webpage (*.htm, *.html). PowerPoint will create a
folder containing all the elements that make up the presentation including
the sound file you are after. Unfortunately it will have a name you won't
recognize easily, something like filexxxx.mp3 or sound xxxx.wav and such. So
who is the performer will not be detectable. If the sound is connected to
the slide transition you can find at least the title in the sound section.
Or if you see the little speaker icon, right-click on it choose Edit sound
object, in the dialogue you will see the name of the file. Maybe there is a
clue there.
