Can I make individual words blink continuously?

Just wondering if there is any way to make a single word or
selected group of words either blink or alternate from smaller to
larger back to smaller for the duration of a slide. I'm a teacher and
I think this would be useful when I'm teaching parts of speech. Thanks
in advance.

Hello,

Yes, you can use an animation effect to accomplish this. Here's how:

Select the text you wish to blink.
Control-click the selected text.
From the pop-up menu choose Custom Animation
Click the Add Effect button
Click the Emphasis tab
Scroll down to Blink
Select Blink
Click OK
Click the Effect Options button
Click the Timing tab
Click the pop-up menu for the Repeat function
Select Until Next Click or Until Next Slide
Click OK
Clock OK
