Can I merge a data field (e-mail) into an outlook address book

I send out an application using a mail merge document created from an Access
database. I have recently included a field for the e-mail address so I can
e-mail the application to them. Is there any way to merge the e-mail
adresses into an address book or will I just have to retype them?
