Can I merge an old PST file with a new one created when I reinsta.

Gelliman

My computer crashed and I had to reinstall Outlook...it took me a couple of
days to find the old PST file on the back up disk. Now I have an old and a
new PST file. Can I merge them? If no, how do I activate the old one and
copy the new file into the old PST file?

Thanks.

Copy the old .PST file to your HD and make sure it has NOT been set READ
ONLY. In Outlook, use 'File|Open|Personal Folders File', navigate to and
select the old .PST file you copied; it should then appear in your Folder
Tree. Open either file and use drag and drop to move the contents of one to
the other.
