Can I migrate Office from one computer to another with the same ke

I am replacing my current XP laptop with a new Vista laptop. I have
Microsoft home and student 2007 on the xp machine, and want to install it on
the new vista machine. My problem is that I have used the key on the allowed
3 machines already, and do not want to run into any problems
uninstalling/installing into the new machine without knowing what to expect.
Nor do I want to have to purchase another copy!



I have heard that if you uninstall on the old machine first, then install on
the new machine, there will be no problems, and no need for phone calls to
prove you are no longer using the old machine.



If any one can help, or offer any advice, it is much appreciated.

Uninstall then install on the new machine is the best practice anyhow,
but you might still need the phone call. The phone call is no big deal
- I've done it a few times without much difficulty.
