Can I Move OneNote file Between ON2003 & ON2007 on Different Compu

Greetings,

Wondering if there's an easy way to move/share OneNote file between my
TabletPC at work that has OneNote2003 on it and my personal laptop that I
recently put OneNote2007 on it?

Would give me more flexibility to use the computer that I happen to have
with me when creating notes if that's possible.....

Thanks,

Mark

Not any way that I can think of short of copy/pasting to other applications
but that's obviously impractical.

However, you may not be aware of it but OneNote 2007 can co-exist with
Office 2003 so you might be able to convince your work to let you upgrade
that one application.

Thanks for the info and suggestion, Josh!

Can probably do what you suggest....

It coexists, but it appears that it is not perfect. I had been running original OneNote for about a year and a half with no problems. I recently installed OneNote 2007 and all seemed to be well. But I started getting spurious errors when accessing documents on SharePoint sites, including problems viewing directories as datasheets, and even editing Word documents stored on SharePoint. I tried everything I could think of, including short of a complete refresh, and including re-installing XP SP2 and IE6, but nothing worked. We finally started uninstalling recently installed apps, and when I uninstalled OneNote 2007, the problems disappeared. I put OneNote 2007 back on again, and some, but not all of the problems returned. I have been working this way for a couple of months (the problems were not showstoppers), but now it's becoming unbearable. I'm thinking of going back to old OneNote, but is there any way to convert my notebooks back to the old format?

No easy way of going back without alot of programming against the new export
api and the old import api.

But what you can probably do is print all your notebooks out to XPS or
something and then reinstall OneNote 2003 and then print from XPS to OneNote
using the power toy. You'll lose alot of quality and fidelity of the notes
but if you absolutely must go back, it's something you might look into.
