Can I open a Works database in Office?

Catherine

I would like to buy Office 2003 but I really need access
to a database that I've put together using Works Suite.
Does anyone know if you can use a Works database in Office
(and how), or whether I'd need to buy Works Suite instead?
Thanks.

Yes, you can if you install all of the converters under the optional
installation of Office Tools.

You will either need Works suite installed or a version of Office that
includes Access, assuming yr converting yr works db to access, with the
built in access converters.
