can I open or view & then edit lotus wordpro docs in MS Word 2007

I have many old Lotus Wordpro docs which I would like to convert into Word
2007 I do not seem able to do this? any suggestions?

I have no clue how well this works, but see this MVP article:
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/WordProConverter.htm. It says you can save
the Wordpro doc's as Word or RTF, which you would then open in Word and clean
up as required (depending on how well the WordPro conversion works).

The Dataviz converter listed on that page works, but does tend to take over
your system as it integrates with Windows Explorer and pops up when you
least expect it..
