Can I open Publisher 2002/XP files in Publisher 2000?

Are Publisher 2002/XP able to be opened with Publisher 2000? I'm currently
having trouble opening a 2002 Publisher file with Publisher 2000. If there
are any "tricks", please let me know. Thanks.
