can I preview a slide in powerpoint after i have edited the slide

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I used to be able to see a preview of my slide after i had made changes to it...now it seems I have to click through the entire slideshow to see my changes in action....very annoying when I have 50 odd slides that I am working on...I just want to be able to preview each slide change...HELP!!!!

At the bottom left of your window should be 3 small icons; click the right hand one, looks like a monitor on a stand, and that should let you preview the slide you currently have selected. And if you can't see the 'stop slideshow' option, just hit the 'esc' button.
