can i print a booklet on both sides of paper withouta duplex print

I would like to print a folded booklet with a number of pages, on both sides
of the paper. My printer is not duplex, so i would print one side and turn
the paper over. I prefer printing to photocopying as Publisher suggests, to
get better quality printing.
This presumably means changing the order of pages but keeping their original
numbering. Can this be done please?

This from Publisher help:
Print a publication on a printer that does not support duplex printing
Even if your printer does not support duplex printing, you can still produce a
double-sided publication. For example, you can:
Print each page separately, and then copy the pages on a copier that supports
double-sided copying.
Display the side of the publication that you want to print first. In the Print dialog
box, under Print Range, click Current page. When the print run of the first side is
complete, flip the sheets over and reinsert them into the printer, and then print the
other side.

You will not lose your numbering, when you print the current page, Publisher will
query, click "no."

Mary you seem to know alot about publisher, I am putting together a
newsletter and I want to condense this newsletter from 8 to 4 pages, meaning
I want double sided pages, and I cannot seem to find a way to do this. I
need the same amount of content, but I want it on 4 pages rather then 8.

Thank You
Barbara

I didn't reply to your posting in hopes you would start a new thread, Margolotta
(Sarah Balfour) is troublesome.
Do you want your publication folded as suggested in the beginning of this thread?
