Can I print an the layout that is on my screen?

I take notes in columns.
My first pass-through is on the left hand side of the screen. I then
re-read these notes and jot down commentaries in a seperate column to the
right hand side. At the end of this second pass-through, I end up with what
looks like 2 large columns on my screen. The placement of the text here is
key as the right hand column relates directly to specific lines within the
left hand column.

This looks great on the screen but when I atempt to print, I am not able to
maintain this structure. The second column does not print until after the
entirety of the first column is printed.

Is there any way for me to fix this?
Thanks!

Is it because you're writing too wide to fit on the page? If you print
preview does it look right? What if you change the paper orientation to
Landscape?

Thanks for getting back so quick.
I am printing on landscape. The page is wide enough to hold both columns
but the right hand column still doesnt print until after the left hand column
is through. The end result leaves me with text on the upper left and lower
right hand sides of the paper, only. The placement of the left hand column
is still offset. I'd just like to print exactly what I see on my screen.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Well, I'd have to try it to see if there's anything you can do about that --
but it's no secret that OneNote 2003 wasn't exactly optimized for printing;
especially somewhat complex print jobs. :(

What happens if you copy/paste that text to Word. Does it maintain (and
properly print) the columns?

Hey Guys....
I'm just curious, how large are those print jobs?

I'm trying to import a (10-page) PDF. I have to convert it to a TIF, insert
it and then redline it. When I email it out to my colleagues, they say that
the print size is enormous and they can't print it. (either that or my
redmarks don't align with the images.)

Just curious. I'm kinda disappointed in the ability to email an image that
can be printed.

Yes...and honestly the file size and printing is samller/easier, but the note
taking ability is nicer with OneNote. With Adobe I find that it's hard to
use the tablet pen to write text comments. In OneNote the pen is very
responsive. I was just wondering if there my be a better way to import PDF
to OneNote and redline.
Thanks.
