can i purchase the stand ed upgrade and install it with pctrial &.

i have the preinstalled pctrial version of office standard edition and ms
works, which is supposed to allow me to purchase an upgrade instead of the
full package of standard edition, according to what i read on the MS website
and my pctrial note or memo, but i can't find it again to show the retailer
and my retailer is unaware. i want to be able to print it out. i could be
confused on this.
