Can I purchase the Student Edition to give it to a student friend.

I'm not a student but I want to purchase it for a gift to a friend who is a
student. Can I purchase the Student and Teacher edition?

I believe when you purchase you get a voucher/form that has to be
signed/stamped by the institution. You then send Form off to receive the cd.
At least last time I purchased this was the procedure.

Yes you can and no voucher forms are needed to get the product.
Retail outlet are supposed to check for Student ID's, however I've never had
one do it. Which is a good thing as the college I attend does not issue
ID's unless you have to enter secure areas of a remote campus.
Everything you need is in the sealed plastic case and you don't have to send
away for CD's.
