Can I record a macro

I think with Visio 2003, you can!
Unfortunately, with Visio 2002 (which I have), this is not possible.

Macro recording was introduced with Visio 2003.

If you do not have Visio 2003, you can post a request to the newsgroups for
someone to run the macro recorder and post the results.

OK - then I would need the following:

The following should be made before the macro is recorded:
Export shape data to a database in access.

Now record a macro while doing:

select a shape, then Tools - Macro - Visio Extras - Link to database - link
to the database already exported to
With the link established - then right-click the shape and pick "Select
Database Record" and make the proper selection
