Can I recover an MS Word file that I closed before saving?

In Need of Help

I have a question. I was working on a file in MS Word 2000 and clicked to
close the file. When it asked if I wanted to save it, I said "no". Is there
any way at all to recover this file so I do not have to retype the document?
Could it be located ANYWHERE on my pc (like in a temp file or somewhere
else)? If you have any suggestions, please let me know

Sorry, no. If you never saved it, it isn't on your disk to recover.
When you close a document (saved or not), Word erases all the temp
files it was using for that document.
