Can I recover an unsaved document in Word 2007?

I inadvertently closed a file which I did not save. I have tried document
recovery but without any success. I have also tried searching files on my
computer, but since I did not save the file, nor was it a product of a
previously saved file, nothing came up. Is there another way of recovering an
unsaved document in Word?
