Can I reinstall Office 2000?

As part of Office 2000, Word was working fine. This summer it disappeared
from my toolbar and from the list of Office components. I ressurected it by
erasing a letter on an old word application, but it is not working right.
After the greeting, ENTER sends the next line to the bottom of the page.
I've been thru the help guide, done the line spacing/paragraph several times,
but neither my friend nor I can get it to work right. Can't I just put my
disc with Word on it in the CD Rom and reinstall it?

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, set the vertical alignment to Top instead
of Justified. Then click the Default... button to write this change to the
letter template.
