Can I reset the autocompletion cache?

Hi,
I am using Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP Media Center HP PC.
I have a contact whose email has changed. Even though I changed it in the
contact field and saved it, when I try to type her name in the To: area,
Outlook tries to suggest the old email address. I have deleted the contact
completely, closed Outlook, rebooted, and then entered the information into
a New Contact. It would only be a minor annoyance if it would give me a
choice of the new email address as well as the old, but it won't. I Have
sent her email at the new address by manually typing it in and also by
clicking the To: box and finding her name. Any help or thoughts?

Once you type in the full address (the correct one) once and send themail,
the next time you start to type her address it should give you a choice of
two emails for her. When you see the drop down for the two choices, use the
arrow keys to select the wrong choice and hit the delete key on the
keyboard.

This does not happen for me! Please help. I am using
Outlook 2000. I have a contact for whom I have replaced
his email adress three times and Outlook still pulls his
old address (even though it does not exist in my contacts
book anymore). When I typed in his full address into the
TO box, Outlook then recognizes him and changes it to read
his Name vs. his email and send correctly. However, if I
type his name instead of the email address outlook sends
the mail to the wrong (old) address.

I tried your suggestions and the second time I typed his
email address I did not get any options to choose from -
any suggestions?
