A folder and 6 sub folders of important emails suddenly disappeared
yesterday. They are not in "deleted" and not in neighboring folders. I use
XP. Is there a way to find missing folders?

And what did you do just before "suddenly"?

I had opened a sub folder to get some data, then closed the email and then
the folder and went back to my inbox to check new messages. Ten minutes later
I needed to look at another email in one of the sub folders of the same
folder but that entire folder and all of the sub folders were missing!

Was this in the same or a different data store? From what view did they
disappear? Did the Deleted Items folder acquire a plus sign to its left?
