Can I restore the database without the log file?

Hi!

I have large database of 1.5 TB. As it turned out the log file was on another drive. The base was deactivated in the normal mode and at the time of cancellation does not contain mistakes. I try to attach base - managment studio takes off. The base was in the simple mode - so in the log anything useful wasn't. Tell me whether you can pull the data in such a case, and what is operations procedure?..
