Can I restore the original normal.dot?

My style list has gotten increasingly cluttered with
things. I now know how to prevent the changes, but is
there a way to simply get back to the "normal.dot" Word
came with without a complete re-installation?

Just delete it. Word will create a new one with all the default settings
next time you start. Bear in mind you'll also lose any autotext settings,
macros, etc, etc.

You can also use the Organizer to clean up your style collection.

Better to rename normal.dot (oldnormal.dot?), just in case you want to
recover any of those settings Jezebel mentions. Note that re-installing Word
would not have changed the personalisations you made to normal.dot.
