Right-click on the picture, left-click on Format Picture |
Layout, and choose something other than "inline with text" as a
text wrapping option. Then you can rotate or flip the picture
using the buttons on the Picture or Drawing toolbars.
Click the picture to select. Projecting from the top you'll see a short line
terminating in a dot. Click and drag that to rotate. The quality of the
result may be poor: some file formats disintegrate when you do this. In
which case, open the file in a graphic editor, rotate it there, save, then
re-import.
In Word 2000, I did not see the line. I know I've seen it with line
drawings, WordArt, and autoshapes, but never before with a JPG photo.
